On Saturday 18th April Discobox will be hosting the first floor at Herbal. Special guests on the night will be Jools Butterfield and Adrian Fillary from the Lovebox Allstars playing along side the Hackney Player's Association of Andy Newcombe, Toru and new recruit Leon Mayes of The Off Key Hat fame. Get ready to be dazzled by some disco goodness! Also in Room 1 Terry Farley from Junior Boys Own / Faith will be laying down some of his house magic.

Right, we're back again next week with a very special guest joining us in the Discobox bassment in the form of the one and only Mr Bill Brewster. To many of you Bill will need no introdcution, but to those that do, Bill is a multi talented/tasking music genius. Some may know him for his fantastic Low Life parties which started in NYC way back when and are now a firm date on all party savvy folk's calendars. Others may have come across his Last Night A DJ Saved My Life book which he co wrote with Frank Broughton or maybe you found your way on to the fantastic www.djhistory.com ,which Bill runs. Whether you familiar with Mr Brewster or not make sure you get yourself down to hear one of his DJ sets as they are truly marvelous, and what better place to hear him than at Discobox on Saturday 6th December!!!

As a little appetizer we have a very special mix for you. On Saturday 27th September Discobox returns for it's second session following it's hugely successful launch last year with DJ Milo from the Wild Bunch.

Discobox is brought to you by residents Andy Newcombe (Discobox / It's All Good) and Toru (Discobox / Vinyl Junkies) in a very special East London basement.

Special guests on the night will be Nick Shaw and Ed Cotton from Nottingham's Basement Boogaloo.

The music policy is good times Disco old and new.
